Luce Reviews: Lush Products!

Hello all,
Is it obvious I really couldn't think of how to start this off? Firstly, I'd like to apologise for my lack of posts recently. I can't even explain how busy I've been; oh lord has life thrown it's lemons at me!

Anyway moving swiftly along,  I'm going to review some lush products! I literally adore lush, their products are pretty much my life and if I could afford to buy the majority of the store, I would. The two bath bombs I will be reviewing are:

  • Honey Bee
  • Butterbear

I'd like to say as well that I have very sensitive skin (eczema/dry), so if these work for me, they can work for anyone! Obviously, this does depend on the severity of your skin's condition.

I'll start with Butterbear because it's my all time favorite bath bomb. Lush state on their website:
Cocoa butter creates a creamy soft bath that is great for nourishing and protecting your skin, with the same vanilla-like fragrance as Butterball bath bomb. Moulded into a friendly and sweet-smelling bear, this is sure to be a winner with little and big kids alike!
This claim couldn't be more accurate.  Once the bomb has fizzed around your bath, it leaves the water milky-looking with the loveliest, soothing vanilla fragrance. The cocoa butter does absolute wonders for your skin, when you dry off afterwards, your skin is silky smooth. I can't rave about this bomb enough; it's absolutely divine. Also I'd like to quickly mention the bear design for the bomb, it's adorable! If I could buy a full hamper of these little beauties then I definitely would go for it. I'd recommend this one to everyone.

Onto Honey Bee, which is also absolutely lovely and definitely another one of my favorites. Lush claim:
A good soak in a Honey Bee bath will soothe and cleanse the skin thanks to its wonder trio of honey, aloe vera, and rhassoul mud, a clay mined near Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Honey is a wonder ingredient that soothes, retains moisture and is antiseptic, and we add plenty of cooling aloe vera, too. Rhassoul mud has natural cleansing properties, and also helps condition and soften the skin.
Again, this description is absolutely spot on. The smell isn't strong but it works well for this one. This one is also perfect for anyone with sensitive skin, like myself, you'll definitely feel the benefits from it. However, I have to admit I wasn't really a fan of the colour when it fizzed in the bath. Honestly, it kind of looked like someone had an accident in the bath (sorry, TMI!). Seriously though, besides the colour it leaves your bath, it's amazing! It's the right amount of everything you'd want and need from a bath bomb.

Anyway, this was just a little mini-post on two of my all time favorite bath bombs since they deserve recognition for being so fabulous! Apologies for the lack of camera quality on the pictures as well; iPhone cameras are pretty shoddy to say the least.

Merry Christmas lovely's,

Luce xo
